2026 Suicide Prevention Summit: A Community Responsibility

Tuesday, April 28, 2026: Fort Lewis College Student Union

Be a part of the change!

A summit is a meeting space in which key actors use discussion, collaboration, and innovation to solve a given issue. In April, 2026 the issue of suicidality will be addressed by essential key actors: our community members. As we see a rise in suicidality, it is essential for our community to come together to learn, brainstorm, and act for the greater purpose of suicide prevention.

This community wide summit is open to all! Keynote speakers and breakout sessions will be announced shortly. All attendees will have the opportunity to join for presentations, roundtable discussions, trainings, and more. Attendees will walk away with an increased understanding of mental health supports for the community as well as actionable next-steps individuals can take to prevent suicide.

There will also be an opportunity for working professionals to join us for a pre-session before the general community event. This opportunity will allow for skill building as well as cross sector collaboration. All those working in health care, behavioral health, public health, education, first responders, non-profit, economic supports, youth engagement, and other similar fields are welcome!

All registration, food, and participation costs are FREE
